For anyone who loves piano music, this show is an absolute MUST. Carnegie Hall caliber concert pianist Jae Ahn-Benton will play a program of the best-known and loved melodies of all-time, ranging from Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin to Scott Joplin and George Gershwin. Among the masterpieces you’ll hear: “Malagueña”, “The Sabre Dance”, “Claire de Lune” and “Rhapsody in Blue”. Host Frank LaSpina reveals the fascinating, often surprising, stories behind these songs and composers. All proceeds from this event benefit the Musical Arts Scholarship Program.

Jae Ahn-Benton is a pianist based in Las Vegas, NV. He studied piano under Mr. Roger Bushell and Dr. Mykola Suk of UNLV. Jae currently works as a pianist at the Institute for Young Dramatic Voices, Nevada School of the Arts, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and Opera Las Vegas. He also runs a private piano studio and accompanying/opera répétiteur business. Jae is also a self-taught composer of nearly 100 original works and 30 arrangements.
